OMG YOUR ALIVE?

Yeah, it's a little over half a year since I've last updated this blog. Way way too long...

But still, I feel no compulsion to update this blog. I mainly keep it because I want to remain subscribed to my friends. I mainly use digital pastures now, but i dunnoes, maybe i felt pity for this old semi-discarded blog. Oh well.

Arg, I must give a proper update.

Well now, I've been busy, quite busy, very busy.

Working on my SDM assignment. My lecturer doesn't know what he wants, and thus I don't know what I want to do, and so I end up screwing myself up by doing the thing that I thought he wanted but he did not want that I ended up wanting.

Confusing? No, not nearly as confusing as trying to find the Big Theta numerator for the number of times your algorithm is going to be executed in a non-sentinel-controlled loop. That's Maths for you. Well, the Maths I'm doing, at least. And I still have to tame Complex numbers, what a beast. Hey, a rhyme!

And.... I HAVE TO FREAKING REDO MY C++ ASSIGNMENT BECAUSE OF !@#!#$%!@$#@!^@#^%">!@#!#$%!@$#@!^@#^%

No, it's not censored swear words. But if I explained the programming concepts that relates to what I need to incorporate into my program and how I am supposed to do it, it'd look like that to you. No difference.

And yeah, just finished printing the notes for this Sunday's YC Bible Class, IGNITE, hope you guys registered. DON'T TAKE YOUR NOTES FOR GRANTED YOU! My sweat & blood! Literally! I got a paper cut!

Okay whatever. I feel really ranty. And a ranty post is not a good post.

if you think you're too small and too useless to save the world, have no fear!

here are some simple steps to saving the world in your own small special way!

1) open up your favourite letter writing application. any text editor will do, word, notepad, doesn't matter.

2) type 'the world' without quotes.

3) hit the diskette icon or press CTRL + S

4) VOILA! You have just saved the world!!!!! Awesome!

But Pastor Guy's brief primer on the history of the church...wooweeeeeeeee....

perhaps...just perhaps one of the biggest weaknesses in the armenian view of theology is the importance of man, be it in salvation or anything else.

now i'm not here to promote calvinism, i adhere to my own neo-orthodoxy (a nice word for what is basically rojak theology). but one thing i like about calvinism is how it downplays man to an almost miniscular entity, while at the same time making God the igniter and catalyst for all things.

since FGA is a charismatic movement, adhering to the armenian view, it wouldn't hurt to remember that we are in fact nothing. nothing without God that is.

there are whole philosophies and theologies on this topic, so i shan't go into any technicalities...but i'd just like to say that whatever we have, all that we are, is like a vapor, scattered by wind, or like a flower that blooms today and wilts tomorrow.

we are basically nothing, but God blesses us with gifts that we build up to be somethings. and when we become something, or someone, ask yourself, is God truly your everything?
